During his career he has successfully managed teams, departments, offices, and branches. He has a track record in project management, managing relationships, negotiating at Director and Board level, and business development, in both the Private and Public sectors.

Sandeep has held the roles of non-executive Director, Partnerships Portfolio, at Hampshire Chamber of Commerce 2015 – 2021, Chair of Southampton Chamber of Commerce / Business Board from 2015 to 2020 and Finance Director, The New Forest Business Partnership CIC 2020 to 2022. He is President, Rotary Club of Highcliffe on Sea (President of the Rotary AM Connect Club, Southampton 2016 – 2019); and a Trustee / Director, Mayflower Academy Trust / MAST. In addition, he was Chair of Southampton Connect (Partnership of Public Sector, Private Sector and Third Sector organisations) 2018 – 2020.

In his spare time, he volunteers to mentor students through The Careers & Enterprise Company (Hampshire CC) and as an alumnus of Swansea University, he has helped to mentor students. He is a Governor at Highcliffe School, and a Vice President of Bournemouth Cricket Club.
